4-hour workweek
Back in 2009, when I read his book about how to obtain a 4 hour workweek, I concluded that I find Tim Ferriss fascinating.
Today I’ve watched his interview (see below) with Loic Le Meur (who I still haven’t met!) about Tim’s personal life, how he looks at doing business, and how he arrived to the point where he is now, which I highly recommend to any person who shares my thought that there is more in life than just working (too many hours). Especially the part about how to get funded and outsourcing your life is highly interesting and certainly not conventional…
I’m not there yet, but am reaching the state-of-mind of doing business in much less time, while minimizing email to max 15 minutes/day. Keywords like batching, pareto’s law (focus on that 20% of your business that generates 80% of revenue), Getting Things Done (GTD), and following a low-information diet (including never watching television) have improved my life over the last few years.
I hope this video or Tim’s book will give you some valuable push to work in a different way as well.
